Hi Christopher,

We (Aiden - 6, Katarina - 8, and I) have listened to the first three parts of your series so far, with plans on listening to them all.

The first part was the hardest for them to follow.  It was a lot of characters with a bunch of different names coming all at once and we had to stop the playback a few times so they could get ahold of the story-line.  They both enjoyed (and laughed out loud at) the name of Sir Egbert Fuffy Pants.  We ended the first night with just the first chapter.  The second night seemed easier for them to follow, and we did chapters 2 & 3.  They are looking forward to Chapter 4 - Aiden's interest in particular was peaked at the idea of the Island of Forgetting.

Dear Christopher,

Your stories are truly entrancing and as my children listen to the sound of your voice their faces lit up and relax..

Thank you.

Christopher,

I have two boys, 8 and 5.  We listened to the first two parts of the Land of the Black Castle story last night.  The boys absolutely loved it.  They were laughing hysterically at Sir Rotter.  You have managed to capture their interest and they are following the story, very anxious about what will happen next.  This is saying something as my 5 year old has the attention span of a gnat!

They struggle with the boys names a bit (my oldest says the names are very fancy so he will call them inventor and kite boy) and had a hard time remembering which was which but I'm sure that we will catch on as we listen to more.  Can't wait for tonight!
